Our European Pet Night held in February featured the fantastic work of Activ’dog in bringing pets to visit the elderly. The work of the volunteers deserves every praise and the stories that they told about the joy that pets bring to the elderly as we prepared for the event was moving and clearly of great value to society. Their generosity in giving their time is to be admired and supported.

IFAH-Europe was delighted to attend its first meeting of the EFSA Stakeholder Consultative Platform at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on 21 22 November last year. It is important that EFSA is regarded as a source of high quality scientific opinion that guides risk assessment.
